Cranberry Wine Relish

What You'll Need:

Cranberry Wine Relish
  • 16 ounces Fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar More to taste as deisred
  • 1/2 cup Red wine
  • 1 or 1 (11 oz) can Fresh orange or Mandarin Cut into bite sized pieces, drained
  • 1 Tbsp Orange zest
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Chopped walnuts Glazed

Combine all the ingredients, except walnuts, into a saucepan and stir well. Cook over medium heat until the berries pop open, about 10 minutes. Skim the foam off the surface with a spoon and discard. Add walnuts. Cool to room temperature. Refrigerate, covered, up to 3 months. Maybe frozen.
