Cranberry Rum-Raisin Sauce

What You'll Need:

Cranberry Rum-Raisin Sauce
  • 3 cups (12 oz) Cranberries Fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Light brown sugar
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1/3 cup Finely chopped crystalized ginger
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Dark rum

In a heavy-bottomed medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring cranberries, brown sugar, raisins, ginger, water & vinegar to a boil, stirring often to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered stirring often, until all cranberries burst and juices thicken lightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in rum. Cool completely.

Serves 12.
