Cranberry Orange Bread

What You'll Need:

Cranberry Orange Bread
  • 2 cups Sifted all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 Sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 Beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon Grated orange peel
  • 3/4 cup Orange juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Salad oil
  • 1 cup Coarsely chopped fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and soda. Combine egg, grated orange peel, orange juice, and salad oil. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Fold in cranberries & walnuts.

Bake in greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until done.

Remove from pan & cool. Wrap and store overnight.
