From cranberry growing and harvesting, to business and marketing, Wisconsin’s cranberry industry provides learning opportunities and materials for elementary school students and scholarships for college-bound students. These resources are provided by the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association (WSCGA) and the Wisconsin Cranberry Board.
Learn About Cranberries Curriculum
This web-based curriculum contains a set of lesson plans based entirely on the cranberry industry in Wisconsin. The Learn About Cranberries curriculum is targeted for third, fourth and fifth grade students and it explores the heritage, science and technology of this important agricultural system in the state. Each section of the website offers interactive lesson plans that will engage students in critical thinking as they learn about cranberries and manage their own digital cranberry marsh. The curriculum was developed to meet Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for science and agriculture, and the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts (CLSS-ELA).
Field Trips
Many Wisconsin cranberry growers are happy to welcome students to their marshes for field trips. For more information on how to get in touch with a marsh, visit our Marsh Tours section, or contact us directly.
Scholarships

Students who plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls or a Wisconsin Technical College are eligible for the scholarships. More information on the WSCGA scholarships can be found in our scholarship section.
